  • I’m an aunty of TWO!!!

Oh my gosh!  I have to spread the joy!  My cousin just delivered her second baby today!  We don’t have pictures yet, but when she sends me some, I’ll post them.  Heehee, I’m super happy, I wish I’m in New York right now, so I can see baby Malcolm.

Baby Marcus was stunned when he went to the hospital today.  I think he was confused to who the little guy in his mom’s arms is.  Haha.  Super cute.  Awww…I miss them.  More to come!

  • Liz & Erik Wedding Slide Show

Liz & Erik got married at the gorgeous Neighborhood church that over looks the ocean in Palos Verdes Estate.  Liz’s mom used to take the sisters to this church when they were little, so it’s kind of dream come true for Liz’s mom to have her daughter get married at this church.  I absolutely love the interior of this church.  We then headed over to the eclectic Angelo’s & Vinci’s restaurant in Fullerton for reception.  I have to say that it was the most amazing reception ever!  Everyone was so happy and the money dance was filled with energy!

It was kind of nice to see the classy and traditional side of Liz & Erik on their wedding day, since they’re usually very casual and rocker-ish.  It was definitely a beautiful wedding (coordinated by Taylor Your Memories) and just a fun day to spend with such gorgeous couple.

  • FRESH & EASY!!!

OH MY GOSH!  I loooooooooooove Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market!

So I finally stopped by at a Fresh and Easy Supermarket on my way home tonight.  I fell in love with the place the minute I walked in.  For some reason, it reminds me of Japan.  Love it!  Everything is so organized, and their brand packaging is simple and pretty.  What I love about their produce section is that everything is packaged in small portions!  I think that’s why it reminds me of shopping in Japan.  I love it!

You see, I cook for myself only.  Portion control is extremely hard when you are cooking for one person.  Grocery shopping is really hard when you are cooking for one person because everything in the States is packaged in huge quantities, it’s really not a country that’s catered to single people, I don’t think.

When I came back from Japan, I thought to myself, I would rather pay more but get less when I go grocery shopping, because then the food won’t rot in my fridge when I can’t finish them.  Really, I end up wasting my money anyway being forced to buy big portions because I can never eat them in time before they rot.  So I love how everything is packaged in a smaller portion at Fresh & Easy.  It’s so awesome!  I love buying the right amount, eating the right portion.  It just makes you feel good.  You know?  No gluttony involved.

So if you haven’t checked out Fresh & Easy before, I urge you to check it out!  You will feel so inspired shopping in there.

    I’m so excited!  Heehee.
